KITSCH AND ART Formal reduction As part of a further training course at the Scuola di Scultura, the task was to break away from traditional images that have stuck with us from legends or fairy tales and to develop new forms of representation. I chose the Grimm's fairy tale The Frog Prince or Iron Henry". I limited myself to four elements from the fairy tale, which I was able to reduce to simple geometric shapes. A truncated cone as a crown, the sphere the princess's golden ball and the horizontal cylinder with an off-center hole the fountain. The slit at the side is the broken iron band.
