As the title suggests, Abril describes her first encounter with Madrid, which stirred such chromatic restlessness in her that she felt compelled to create a painting. She explains that during her journey, due to her sensitivity, she saw dissonant tones without any harmony. She recalls how, upon entering the metro, she was taken aback by the sight of yellow handrails, brown seats, as well as the colors of the metro stations and even the ambulances. It was then that she decided to create a deliberately mismatched painting.
