64“ Video performance, 148 x 19 x5 cm - Curved mild steel, 91 x 106 x 4 cm The double fiddle, historically used to punish quarrelers by forcing eye contact, symbolizes violence in human relationships. My performance examines the dynamics of separation and reunion, where pushing away intertwines withholding, creating tension. This work, exploring body language and power relations, fits the theme of "body language" by using the body to communicate and reflecting on how social contexts shape our physical selves.
