A golden, vibrantly coloured panoramic oil painting of the path through an ancient woodland in autumn. 40x16x1.5 inches. The painting technique is blurred and impasto and has a golden glow to it that changes throughout the day depending on the light. This painting almost vibrates with the promise of good things around the next bend. The inspiration was lots of woodland walks taken in autumn in the East Sussex area where the paths through the trees are often well worn and very old.
