Created based on the reference photo, the original is a black and white photo of stone sculptures of body parts used as votive offerings to gods for good health or to banish pain and disease. I wanted to try my luck with supernatural forces as im struggling with a chronic paint of the left part of my body. I felt like painting the negative and red brings the offering part closer to life.
