The similarity between Dante's eternal, obsessive love for Beatrice and the imaginary meeting in the world beyond death (in the third part of the Divine Comedy "Paradise"), as in the legend of Orpheus and Eurydice, is obvious. I sculpted Dante metamorphosed into Orpheus, with the lyre and looking back and I sculpted Beatrice with her body shape in the negative because it's just an illusion, fixed on Dante's emotional pain.
