The project conceptualises the creative process as a gesture through time, where the present is an engine of reflection informing the construction of strategies deployed towards the future. In time‐based forms like music, what is unknown is “What happens next”. In that sense, the musical score is a mapping of the proximate. Visually, Jasmin found it important to reference blueprints because they imply construction at a future date. The hand which is central in the print was influenced by research in early notation music systems, namely the Guidonian Hand.
