The City series started out as small scale experiments with oil paint left over from working on larger pieces, but soon took on a life of its own and is ongoing. The series is inspired by the idea of the city and the urban skyline, and is executed in a very playful, very colourful language, using oil paint mixed with impasto medium and marble dust for added body and texture.
