Starting from the concept of symbiosis and self-similarity, Symbiosis investigates forms of organisms, such as algae, fungi and plants, which were first found on the island of Sant’Erasmo in Venice and now in Southend-on-Sea. These organisms create an endless movement of repeated forms, which is also found in the geography of the place itself, seen from above. Despite the heterogeneity of the materials, the universe finds its equilibrium, a continuous flowing and becoming in harmony with the whole.
