The Peacocks Secret is a large semi-abstract oil painting of a peacock in a secret garden by a lake in late summer. It is 40x40x1.5 inches. Wildflowers edge the lake and the peacock sits on a branch to one side allowing us a glimpse of the garden he presides over – almost as if he has pulled back a curtain for us. On the opposite bank you can see a field of wheat and trees and a path in the distance beyond. The painting is art nouveau in style and very vibrant, colourful and magical as a landscape.
