The Truth Calls is a large oil painting of an autumn path through English countryside and woodland with views across fields and hedgerow beside it. It is 40x40x1.5 inches. The painting is blurred at the edges which appears to pull the viewer onto the path that leads to whatever mystery lies beyond. On the left you can see the low hills of the Ashdown Forest area of Sussex. It was inspired by a walk I took in November near Ide Hill (English North Downs) which goes through the ancient farmland and fields of Orbriss farm. I
