Christpher Green

Christopher is a painter who works with both abstraction and figuration. He builds up his paintings by adding, erasing and collaging paint, paper and other elements together. His paintings are informed by revision and reinterpretation – they cross-pollinate each other in either form or shape, and sometimes even by a physical transfer of the canvas to the next painting. By doing so, each works becomes connected: a sum of both the past and the future.
