Dario Moschetta

Hello, my name is Dario Moschetta, I am an artist/illustrator born in Castelfranco Veneto, I currently live and work in Padua. I create traditional works, digital paintings, drawings, illustrations. I use acrylics, oil, inks, sprays, transfers on canvas and other materials. I produce limited edition prints in collaboration with fine art printing laboratories. I have collaborated with art galleries in Italy, London and Tel Aviv. I have participated in independent art fairs in London (2017, 2018, 2019,2020) and Miami (2017). Current clients worldwide. I like to portray people and study their expressions. I like aerial views of big cities and city skylines without the presence of people. From that vantage point, the cities appears silent and full of mystery. Lately Iʼve been captured by classical marble statues. They are ageless, immortal beauties. Everybody is fascinated by them, and their beauty deserves to be forever preserved by the most resistant material. I paint these statues and I try in my own way to make some of their beauty to stay. Sometimes this beauty turns out to be more attractive if there is some flaw: a missing nose or a chip on the surface.
