Dinu Săvescu

Painter and restorer was born in 1956, Arad. 1980-'84 - painting studies at the Institute of Fine Arts,,N. Grigorescu", Bucharest, class of Prof. Gh. Șaru and Ion Sălișteanu. 1990 - member of U.A.P., Bucharest painting section. Conservation expert - painting restoration on wood, canvas and glass support. 2003 - The "C. Nicolaescu" Ministry of Culture and Cults, granted for the restoration of the catapetesms of Voroneț, Moldovita, Humor. 2009 - Award of the Ministry of Culture and Religion, awarded for the restoration of the Buddhist wooden Church - Josani, Maramureș county - UNESCO
