Evangelos Aslanidis

Evangelos Aslanidis is an experienced producer, musician and new media artist, currently fulfilling his postgraduate studies at the Ionian University (MA: Audiovisual Arts In The Digital Age program). He combines a multidisciplinary background of professional activity and experience, having studied and worked in marketing, economic & financial fields while simultaneously being an active musician, visual artist and audiovisual arts student. Over the last years Evangelos has morphed into an audio/visual system where he combines his musical creations with visual art elements. Music and audio has become one structure and lately Evangelos explores visual programming, audio reactivity, physical computing, coding, interactive installations, projection mapping, 3D, 2D as well as mixed visual techniques. In 2024 he participated in the 20th Athens Digital Arts Festival performing live music & visuals. In 2023 he participated in a 7-Day workshop & VR exhibition at The Greek National Opera which focused on further broadening the relationships between architecture and music & space and sound through the use of new digital media. In 2022 he launched his first artistic exhibition featuring solely visual extractions, “φ gital”, where he presented 6 digital prints on large scale canvases, giving physical existence to his digital art.
