Gustavo Sanches de Castro, a native of Espinho, was born in January 1986. He has always lived in love with art, as an aesthetic manifestation, way of expression and social instrument. Throughout his life he experienced, lived and appreciated various forms of art. From free drawing to technical drawing, from graffiti to architecture. His professional training is in the area of technical design and budgeting, an activity he kept in parallel for some time. Without training in the area of painting, its course is guided by constant curiosity and intrinsic need to learn, to experiment and to improve at every step. "It's not just art, it's a piece of me." He found in painting his main form of manifestation and expression, a form of sharing thoughts, feelings and affections. In 2018, he faced the challenge and elaborated a collection of paintings that mark his return to the world of arts and artistic expressions in its widest fullness. No name, no visible signature, no position. This makes your work have no limits or restrictions. The important thing is not the commercial meaning of the construction of the work, but what the work carries of the artist and what feeling it awakens in those who look at it.
