Irina Cristescu

Irina Cristescu studied at Parsons School of Design in New York and at the National University of Arts in Bucharest. Her works are featured in important collections in Romania, Japan, US and Mexico. Irina’s most recent exhibitions include one of the largest mirror installation exhibition at the Bucharest Palace of Parliament (Second Largest Building in the World), the Galateca Art Gallery and the Kodokan Museum in Tokyo, Japan. Irina’s work explores the untamed parts of ourselves using color to approach the most authentic state of our being. By exploring the large spectrum of human emotions, her work depicts portraits of humanity focused on the psychology of our current society.
