Nicolas Guyot is best known for the silver material of his photographic prints. These works explore, through a poetics of disorder, the emergence of faults in our uncertain worlds. The Introspection of the solitude of beings facing the unknown is revealed in paintings at the border of figurative and abstract. In the darkroom, he makes silver bromide his painting to give body and volumes to works that are at first heterogeneous but connected by matter and the universe aroused. Unconventionally, he moves his photography through other plastic paths such as embroidery, marouflage, charcoal or watercolor. Twist the images, physically build and deconstruct, that they become paintings inspired by the dialogue with matter, until they position themselves in the unknown. What is the nature of this ignored that we have not yet managed to think?
