Satta Briama

Satta Briama (b. 1993, she/they) is a Sierra Leonean born, London raised performance creative and self-taught artist based in Berlin, Germany. Briama is passionate about utilising all forms of art as a means to nurture and express the human experience. Her paintings, often (self) portraits, focus on celebrating and depicting the multifaceted lives of black and brown bodies. She has recently begun to delve into the world of abstract expressionism as a way to explore intrapersonal reactions to social connections. She received her BA in Drama and Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths university, London.
