Stefano Brunello
Artworks ship from:
Italy
Since he was very young, he was fascinated by his father’s work, a skilled wood furniture restorer. He taught him the technique of fretwork, wood-carving and inlay, together with brushstrokes creation in geometric plans. Brunello started to build wooden frames, which were later covered by canvases. They both hide and unveil the underlying work, in order to rarefy the whole structure and let the play of light bring it out. The wooden structure, being either geometric or perspective, is thus veiled by the canvas.
