Sven Stilinović was born in 1956. He was a member of the Group of Six Authors from 1975 to 1979. He also engages in interior design and scenography. He has exhibited since 1974 in numerous group and solo exhibitions. The artistic work of Sven Stilinović is certainly a specific in many ways unique episode in the context of contemporary Croatian art, experimenting with photography. Photography as one of the means of visual expression of specific aesthetic poetic, simply never existed for Sven. Such attitude to photography was almost analogous to the primary and analytical method in painting.
