Weerawit is a Thai painter that he has studied painting since he was 5 with his health problem about essential tremor. Weerawit started working in the way to finding interpretation of relation between culture, time and human life through painting. The relation of time and culture, make him reinterprets the images from memory to painting and reflects the human life. So he tries to combine them together as postmodernity. And break the wall of two worlds between reality and imagination. His works are in process of using reference from new media such as photograph and video. And reinterpret to be painting as traditional material. The painting was painted as layer by rubbing and glazing. Every layer that he paints over, it gradually changes the result and makes his painting seems ethereality. The ideas come from the ways to depict the things in life whether they are human or object. And capture all sorts of light and shadow, space and time, body and mind, connection between process and result, likewise elaboration of floating imagination in dream. For this idea and process come from his essential tremor that demolishes the boundaries between past-present-future, abstraction and representation, from objects to non-objects. His artworks focus on nude and erotic painting that seem delicate, fragile, serenity, emptiness and sorrow which represents both spirituality and reality. “My painting is the result of memories and reality. It influences me as a nymph in my dream”
