The painting "Detriment" follows up on the idea of 'moral cannibalism' in the violent actions of people towards one another. Cruelty is always occurring right around the corner, but we became immune to it as long as it is not tangential to our existence. When we happen to be touched by it however, we are stepped over by the herds of masses that are constantly moving in a destructive tempo and never looking back.
