Daria Lupan was born in 2003 in the Republic of Moldova. After having gone through the schooling of several mentors throughout her teenage years, the pandemic of 2020 served as a catalyst of her artistic activity. During this period, she quit watercolor illustration in favor of oil and acrylic, which she found to be the most suitable materials for her work. She has been painting since early childhood, however she considers the summer of 2021 as her debut with her first solo exhibition "High Brain Activity" in Chisinau, her hometown. Followed shortly by a group exhibition in Venice, Italy in the autumn of 2021 she stepped into the international arena. The following year she chose to move to Venice, where she is currently getting a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and International Studies and carries out her artistic activity. What appeals to Daria in painting, is the possibility of visualizing images that prior to that moment existed only in her imagination.
