Through the portal made with columns of giraffe and dragon sculptures we see a crystal-like comb with the handle decorated with heads of (from the left) a crow, a lion and a penguin. Inspired by decorative pages of old folklore tales and mythical creatures. This painting took me some time to finish, started it in September and was uncertain if I want to continue with the idea. Thankfully decided to finish it and had so much fun doing it I finally felt at ease with oil paint techniques. This painting made me want to paint more and reminded me it’s so good to just paint what comes to mind.
