Bel Art gallery was established in 1998 in Novi Sad (Serbia). It is engaged in organizing exhibitions, presenting and marketing works of art, offering a wide range of professional service, art consulting and publishing. It is oriented towards artists, art connoisseurs and collectors. Special attention has been paid to international exchange and presentation of Serbian contemporary artists abroad (Budapest, Rome, Paris, St Petersburg, New York, Toronto, Washington Geneva, Ulm, Dortmund, Norwich, Vienna, Bratislava, Tokyo...). It exhibits the most important modern and contemporary artists together with the emerging ones. The gallery collaborates with a large number of institutions and galleries in the country and abroad. Bel Art has co-founded the national fine art award “Sava Šumanović” and introduced the award for art critic Vertical (2012). The major international project is Danube Dialogues Contemporary Art Festival (2013) - www.danubeartfest.com. Our vision is to be a regionally relevant contemporary art gallery focused on presenting selected artists on the international art scene and encouraging international cooperation and exchange. Our misson is to create a genuine platform by bringing together emerging and established artists. The priority is given to innovative approaches and curatorial practice. Our art programme ranges from figurative and abstract painting to sculpture and installations.
