Our mother company Blitz is one of the oldest Budapest based Hungarian contemporary art galleries. It was established in 1991. We are active in the primary and the secondary market as well and acting as a consultant to corporate and private collections. Our new gallery is Blitz Contemporary, opened in 2023. The founder and the owner of the Blitz was also a founder of the first and then the largest private owned contemporary art museum in Budapest, Hungary. It was called MEO Contemporary Art Collection. In the past decades we had the privilege to work with well-known Hungarian and international artists: Imre Bak, Tibor Csernus, Ilona Keserü, Nobuyoshi Araki, Peter Greenaway, Andres Serrano, Bettina Rheims and lot of other artist excepted our invitation for group exhibitions or solo shows. Our aim is to represent and exhibit internationally known artist, introduce the East and Central European contemporary artist as well as emerging and established Hungarian artists too.
