A 14. DUNARTCOM SOMORJAI NEMZETKÖZI MŰVÉSZTELEP idén tizennegyedik alkalommal került megrendezésre Somorján, mely a város első művésztelepe. Alapításának legfőbb célja a kapcsolatteremtés a művésztársadalom tehetséges hazai és külföldi, már szakmailag elismert és feltörekvő fiatal képzőművészei között, ahol egymás munkamódszerének, gondolkodásának megismerése által, új szellemi közösséget kívánunk teremteni. A tizennégy évad folyamán a művésztelepre tizenhét országból meghívott, közel száznyolcvan alkotó tematikus hívószóra alkotott műfaji megkötés nélkül, a hagyományos megfogalmazásokon túl az újszerű médiumok alkalmazásáig. Ezidáig több mint hatvanöt szakmai program valósult meg a DUNARTCOM szervezésével. For the fourteenth consecutive time, the “DUNARTCOM” International Symposium was held in the town of Šamorín in this year. It is the city’s first artists’ colony, with the aim of connecting talented artists both local and foreign, renowned and emerging, in order to create a new intellectual community by sharing each other’s methods and thinking. Throughout its eleven seasons, 180 artists from 17 countries have come to Šamorín to create in response to a given theme, without genre restrictions, using both traditional methods and new mediums. Over the years, more than sixtyfive thematic programs have taken place by the organization DUNARTCOM.
