IKIKATA- a contemporary art gallery established in 2020 by a curator and the founder- Kasia Szwarc. Despite our relatively short history, our exhibitions and the artists we represent have been enthusiastically received by the public, clients and professional critics. Last year, we won the Audience Award at the 20th edition of the Warsaw Art Fair, where we were recognized for having the best booth/exhibition among over 100 of Poland’s leading galleries. Additionally, we were honored by art critics and journalists who featured us in a four-page spread in the inaugural issue of ART SALON 2023 magazine (published by POLITYKA). This article highlighted us alongside Poland’s most important state museums, galleries and private contemporary art collections. We represent a diverse group of emerging and mid-career artists who have gained recognition not only in Poland — such as during the OmenaArt Foundation’s major charity auction at Wilanów Palace, whose Artistic Council includes prominent art experts — but also internationally. Our artists have been acknowledged in prestigious competitions, exhibitions and fairs around the world, including the Arte Laguna Prize, Salon Maison & Objet and the exhibition celebrating the centenary of Visual Arts Scotland.
