Art Gallery Le Papillon opens in Varna in the autumn of 2000, located in the cultural center of the city of Varna and in its pedestrian area. It presents a special selection of talented Bulgarian artists of different generations and expressiveness - painting, graphics, sculpture, as well as a permanent exhibition of author's jewelry. In the gallery you will find works by both young talents and already established, proven authors - the majority of them are well-known and recognized outside the country, including artists who can rarely be seen in Bulgarian galleries. In the exhibition hall of Art Gallery Le Papillon, various individual and group exhibitions are presented monthly, and the priority in the selection of authors is the presentation of the most complete, diverse and high-quality image of Bulgarian art in the present. Art Gallery Le Papillon has made a remarkable contribution to the enrichment of the city's cultural scene, the development of the art scene and the creation of new audiences. It presents contemporary works by already established, proven modern authors, by young talents who work in different styles and techniques, but also by the works of Bulgarian classics. A priority in the selection of authors is the presentation of the most complete and qualitative image of Bulgarian art in the present. The selection of both the works and many talented Bulgarian artists of different generations and expressiveness is at a high level - painting, graphics, sculptors of small and monumental sculptures from stone, bronze, wood, ceramics, modern materials. Many of the gallery's artists' works are in public, corporate and private collections. Here you can see landscapes, still lifes executed in the style of classical painting, surreal compositions by authors with a characteristic handwriting to abstract minimalist compositions by established names and young promising authors.
