It has been 30 years since gallery owner Péter Pintér started to deal with antique objects and furniture. Since then, the gallery has grown both spatially and in terms of its diverse spectrum, becoming one of the largest galleries in Central and Eastern Europe. The 2,000-square-meter Pintér Gallery and Auction House is located in the heart of Budapest, on Falk Miksa Street, which is center of Hungary's art and antique market center. The specialty of the gallery lies in the maze-like arrangement of the 15 rooms spread over three floors, and in the mysterious atmosphere of the contrast between modern and antique. The gallery auctions Hungarian and international classics, 20th century modern and contemporary paintings, sculptures, as well as modern and antique furniture. Since the first auction held in 2008, auctions are held on monthly basis, both in virtual and real space.
