There is a shared vision among the participating artists of the ‘Echoes of Matter’ exhibition that the future of art is inevitably digital, offering a boundless space where physical limitations dissolve and art can reach a truly global audience. The digital format enables greater accessibility, allowing anyone worldwide to connect with the artwork, regardless of geographical location.

Magdolna Zelinka reflects on this:

The internet is a huge communication network between people where the boundaries of space and time are blurred or even disappearing.

This shift not only democratizes access to art but also reshapes the way art is experienced and interpreted.

Lotte Hubmann views it as an exciting opportunity to expand the dialogue on art’s fragility and impermanence, remarking,

The digital venue of the exhibition provides a possibility to show works in a way that is more manageable for curators and organizers, as well as more convenient for artists.

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, the art world is no longer confined to physical spaces. Mustafa Yüce acknowledges this change, explaining,

In a world where technology advances rapidly, visibility and accessibility have become easier. Therefore, further digitalization [of the art industry] is inevitable.

Online exhibitions like 'Echoes of Matter' allow artists to engage with audiences across continents, erasing borders and providing new avenues for connection. Zoltán Székács adds that while digital platforms are still developing, they offer a transformative experience:

I can see that it works, but I’m still gathering experience... it’s all a bit spontaneous, not fully developed yet.

For Elad Eisenstein, the digital format is more than just a new medium—it’s a natural extension of how art should evolve in a world increasingly shaped by technology.

I love the interface between digital and physical... because we use digital platforms so much, digital venues should be and probably will be used more in art,”

he says.

The immersive nature of this exhibition allows viewers to engage with art in a personal yet shared digital space, removing the physical walls that often separate viewers from the artwork, artists, and even each other. In this way, the digital format becomes a bridge, connecting artists and audiences across distances and offering a dynamic, interactive experience that transcends traditional boundaries.
