Where Can We Go
About
Kali Itouad, in collaboration with follow.art, is delighted to present an online exhibition titled "Where Can We Go." This exhibition aims to explore the multifaceted intersections of urbanization and colors through various artistic expressions. As we navigate the complexities of urban landscapes, unique artistic perspectives could provide invaluable insights into the diverse narratives and experiences within these environments. Whether through vibrant cityscapes, abstract interpretations, ruins and buildings or nuanced representations, the artwork has the potential to provoke thought, evoke emotions, and spark conversations about the ever-evolving nature of our urban world. "Where Can We Go" provides an online platform for artists to showcase their talent and contribute to a collective dialogue on the dynamic relationship between urbanization and colors.
Kali Itouad is a Master II student at ICART Paris with a solid background in contemporary art. He kickstarted his journey by gaining experience as an assistant gallerist at Galerie-Art-Z, renowned for emerging African contemporary art. He also wrote articles for SYMANews on several artists from the African continent as a freelancer. Marked by his various trips, notably to the 2020 World Expo in Dubai and the 1-54 fair in Marrakech in 2024, it was there that he discovered new talent and developed his critical sense and aesthetic sensibility. Building upon this foundation, Kali then joined Gagosian Gallery as an intern, an iconic institution where he further immersed himself in the intricacies of the art industry. Alongside his gallery experiences, he also supported artists such as the Congolese artist Dolet and the French photographer Charles Fréger as an advisor. Moreover, his stint at Sébastien Moreu publishing house in Paris provided him with valuable insights into current artistic trends and honed his skills in communications and marketing.
